Jouri is only 8 years old...
Every time she looks around, she sees children running, laughing, and playing... and wishes she could do the same.
But her little heart grows tired before she has the chance to enjoy being a child.
Jouri was born with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) and needs corrective heart surgery to give her the chance to live her childhood free from pain and fear.
She comes from a family of seven, where her father works as a contract teacher, doing everything he can to provide for his family. Yet the cost of Jouri's treatment is beyond what they can afford.
More than anything, Jouri dreams of waking up one day, running without getting tired, laughing with all her heart, and returning home to her mother's warm embrace, happy and healthy.
